JOUA is a modern beauty brand concept inspired by playful femininity, soft shine and Y2K aesthetics. The brand is designed for girls who see beauty as a mood - light, tactile and expressive. JOUA feels glossy, warm and intimate, blending clean editorial aesthetics with softness and a subtle Parisian touch.
Challenge
The challenge was to create a girly, Y2K-inspired beauty identity without losing clarity or modernity. We needed to balance playful sensuality, glossy textures and nostalgic references with a clean structure that feels editorial, confident and easy to scale across digital and physical touchpoints.
Solution
We developed a flexible visual system where playful minimalism meets warm sensuality. Soft nude pinks, creamy tones and milky lilac set the color foundation, while glossy, slightly melted textures add a tactile, almost edible feel. Rounded forms, minimal layouts and smooth lowercase typography keep the identity clean and modern, allowing the brand to feel girly, confident and effortlessly wearable across packaging, product visuals and digital content.
